20013 nissan sentra with less than 75k miles. Making a left turn and heard a loud pop. Left front ball joint broke off the lower control arm causing the control arm to smash through the tire rim and rip out the axle from the transmission. Was towed in and the lf ball joint is rusted and fell apart. The stud and nut are still attached to the knuckle and the ball pulled out of the socket. This allowed the suspension of drop that corner of the car down and pull the cv axle out of the transmission. Just pulling out from home.
