Dtcs code po101 keep coming up..it says replace mass airflow sensor... I got a sensor from the dealer....and clear the code. After a few days of driving it came back up po101. I feel like vehicle is not moving. My foot is all the way down on the gas rpm is at 4000 and it not moving.

I was driving on the highway and the car would not accelerate past 60mph, once i got off the highway the car wouldnt accelerate past 20mph and the rpm would shoot to 4,000!!! I almost got hit making a turn because the car would not accelerate. The car only has 44,000 miles on it with no previous mechanical issues.

As i was driving or turning, car would hesitate, speed would drop even though foot still on accelerator. Turns out had moisture in driver's brake light which caused car switch to brake thereby causing jerking hesitation. Dangerous because even though car slowed down, brake lights not lit, dangerous to drivers behind me. Light replaced due to seal allowing moisture in.
